Work up an appetite this Thanksgiving Day during the annual Turkey Trot. Walk, jog, or waddle like a turkey on the 3-mile course. The Big Bear Turkey Trot benefits local food pantries and Open Air Big Bear, a non-profit on a mission to advance outdoor events and activities in Big Bear.
While most eateries will close for the Thanksgiving holiday, some Big Bear restaurants will be featuring traditional turkey dinners – and some additional options – and don’t be shy to invite guests as these feasts are fit for the whole family!
The annual Christmas Tree Lighting is scheduled for Nov. 25 at 5 PM at Christmas Tree Corner at the heart of The Village. Enjoy live music by Nikki Sparks and say hello to Santa and Mrs. Claus! Tree lighting begins at 6:15 PM, so be ready to ring in the holiday season.
