Big Bear Valley CERT partners with Sonora Cantina for all-day taco fundraiser

The Big Bear Valley Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is hosting an all-day dining fundraiser in partnership with Sonora Cantina on Monday, September 14, 2026.

Community members are invited to enjoy great food while supporting vital local emergency preparedness and disaster response initiatives. The “All Day Tacos” event runs throughout regular business hours at Sonora Cantina. A portion of the proceeds from the day will directly benefit Big Bear Valley CERT, helping fund essential equipment, training, and community outreach programs.

“Our volunteer teams train year-round to support professional first responders and assist neighbors during critical incidents,” said a spokesperson for Big Bear Valley CERT. “Community partnerships like this one with Sonora Cantina allow us to maintain a high level of readiness and ensure Big Bear remains resilient when disaster strikes.”
