BIg Bear Deputies vs. Teachers to support Special Olympics in a basketball game for the ages | Big Bear

It’s Big Bear Sheriff’s deputies vs. Big Bear High School teachers in friendly basketball matchup starting at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, at Big Bear High School. The proceeds will go to benefit Special Olympics Inland Empire athletes and programs. The monies directed toward the upcoming Big Bear Polar Plunge on Saturday, May 4. Suspect arrested in alleged stabbing in Big Bear Lake

On January 8, 2017, at approximately 12:40 p.m., deputies of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a stabbing that occurred at a residence in the 41000 block of Park Avenue in Big Bear Lake. It was reported that an 18-year-old male had stabbed an adult male relative living in the household following a verbal altercation.
