Wolf Awareness and Boo at the Zoo all on one fun day

Boo at the Zoo

Wolves, vampires, ghosts, goblins and more at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo.

What do you get when you celebrate “Boo at the Zoo” on the same day as Wolf Awareness Day?

Howl-oween, of course!

Big Bear Alpine Zoo will celebrate the final day of Wolf Awareness Week at Big Bear Alpine Zoo and host its annual “Boo at the Zoo” Halloween celebration on Saturday, October 27th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Children are encouraged to come in costume, visit their favorite animals and trick-or-treat at stations throughout the Zoo. You can also sharpen your skills at wolf behavior interpretation, or join the pack in a community howl.

The spooktacular event will feature dark tales and unique storytelling, featuring our animals of the night and accompanied by tasty treats. Children of all ages will also be able to enjoy arts and crafts and our most popular pumpkin enrichment table.
